Migraine Headache




Most migraines are caused by dehydration as most people DO NOT drink enough water or drink it properly.

The first thing to do for a migraine is drink 8 oz. of water and do this every 10 minutes until it is gone or up to 90 minutes, no more.

However here is a remedy that may work for you…

Cabbage leaf will relieve a migraine headache in minutes.

You can easily ease the pain of a migraine through using a cabbage leaf.

A cabbage leaf compress is prepared through placing crushed cabbage leaves on a cloth and then applying it to the forehead.

Leave the cloth there until relief comes, however replace the leaves as they dry out.

OTHER THINGS THAT MAY HELP WITH MIGRAINES

  • Avoid certain foods.

But one of your favorite foods can easily trigger a migraine. But, guess what? Chocolate isn’t the only enemy. 

Here is a list from a neurologist that will trigger foods for migraines:

1.     Alcohol

2.     Caffeine Foods or Drink

3.     Cheese

4.     Fatty Foods


All of those are on the “do not consume unless you want a migraine” list.

A worldly doctor said this: “Cheese is an enemy and tends to send painful shock-waves to the head.”

  • Keep a food journal.

Whenever a migraine begins, write down the food and beverages you consumed that day. Look for common factors and then remove the foods/drinks that seem to be contributing to your migraines. Sometimes the process of elimination helps you pinpoint the exact trigger if your migraines are food-related.

  • Avoid strong perfume or cologne.

Strong scents, especially those in perfumes and colognes, can easily trigger headaches.

  • Take action in the first 30 minutes. The sooner you deal with a migraine, the better.
