WHAT CAUSES ORAL THRUSH?
Oral thrush occurs when a yeast infection develops on the inside of your mouth and on your tongue. This condition is also known as oral candidiasis, oropharyngeal candidiasis, or, simply, thrush. The Candida albicans (C. albicans) fungus causes oral thrush.
WHY DO PEOPLE GET THRUSH?
It's an infection caused by the candida fungus, which is yeast. You can get it in your mouth and other parts of the body. Anyone can get thrush, but it happens most often to babies and toddlers, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems.
NATURAL REMEDY I LEARNED ABOUT:
Grapefruit seed extract.... NOT PEEL .... 10 drops into an oz. of water and brush baby’s teeth and tongue...or if your using it in your ear/skin (ear ache/infection) use coconut oil instead of water.
Got info from another source.
