What is Diatomaceous Earth?
Diatomaceous Earth – Also known as D.E., diatomite, or kieselgur/kieselguhr – is a naturally occurring, soft, siliceous sedimentary rock that is easily crumbled into a fine white to off-white powder. Wikipedia
Diatomaceous Earth is NOT good and is comes from dirt/clay. Clay is not something that should be taken internally on a regular, no matter how good many claim it to be. The drawbacks outweigh the benefits. We shouldn't be eating dirt.
Sister White endorses activated charcoal, not clay.
“CLAY, slate pencils, burned coffee, tea grounds, cinnamon, cloves, and spices, cannot claim that the appetite demands what the system requires...” (CD 239.2)
