Immune System Boost

Ingredients:
1/2 regular size onion (pref. red)
2 lemons
4 regular size garlic cloves
1 Aloe leaf
Honey (to taste. 2 oz. recommended)
Water (as needed)

What you’ll need:
  • Blender
  • Strainer
  • Cloth strainer
  • Spoon
  • container
  • Glass bottle (amber or green. NOT transparent)

HOW TO:
*Begin by removing dried skin from the onion and rinse once under running water.

*Slice your half-onion into smaller pieces; do the same with lemons (should have skins and seeds).

*Get your aloe leaf and cut it in half to make the peeling process easier.

*Slice the sides of the leaf; then carefully peel off the skin layer to expose the gel.

*Scoop out the aloe gel and place it into a container.
*Rinse under running water once (making sure there’s no skin residue)

*Place your sliced onion, garlic cloves, sliced lemons, and aloe gel into a blender. Blend until getting a smoothie-like consistency.

*Using your strainer pour contents into a large container stirring with a spoon.

*Place the dried mix residue into a cloth strainer and squeeze to get all the juice out. Add a little bit of water and squeeze again until all the juice has been strained.

*Add honey to taste (or 2 oz.). Dilute honey in water for easier pouring.

*Add water for a more liquid consistency or until the desired amount (depending on the size of the bottle) (28oz.)

*Pour your homemade immune system boost into a glass bottle (green or amber).

*Drink 2 to 4 tablespoons as many times as you need.  Add a few drops of organic peppermint flavor oil for
a more refreshing taste (optional).

*Shake well before using.
*Keep refrigerated.

  1. Why don't you use a clear glass bottle to store it?

    1. Dark glass protects the ingredients from the deteriorating effects of light.
